Tia meets Noddy

Noddy was in town :-)

Thanks to Reena this Sunday we all had a good time. Especially Tia and Shaylee, and ofcourse Navya too. Reena posted the invite of "Noddy Live" in my facebook. Which I forwarded to Ashwini, Chirag and Ved. And to my surprise, this time Ved took the initiative and bought tickets and planned for the trip.

We booked the 2:00 p.m. show. Venue was "Ambedekar Bhavan" in Vasanthnagar. We reached there around 1:15. While waiting for Ashwini to come, I even filled up lucky draw forms to Meet Noddy on behalf of Tia. It was sponsored by HP and Aquaguard. Kids were getting their caricature drawn and paint tattoos drawn on the hands. But it was very crowded, and I could not get it done for Tia. Tia and I, entered the hall early and roamed in the stalls for sometime. During that time, Ved and others has already taken the seat in auditorium. Soon we joined them.

Tia and Shaylee were super-duper excited to meet each other. The good thing about the show was that, it was very interactive. Kids were totally into it. Even Navya who was clapping and shouting and even jumping. After sometime she was not willing to sit in my lap and wanted to get down on her feet. One time while clapping and tapping their feet, the kids had reached the podium. Organizers picked up around 4-5 kids from the crowd to dance with Noddy. Shaylee and Tia got picked up and went on the stage to dance.

During the 15 mins break, they went out and bought some Noddy goodies for themselves. T-shirts, glow sticks and caps. And the icing on the cake was that Tia got selected in the bumper draw to get her photo clicked with Noddy. She was all excited to meet him and shake hands with him. I am yet to go to Frazer town to collect the snap.
