Finally we got it done.................

Got Tia's ears pierced. Bonus was, that we also got it done for Navya. And what better day than Dassera.

Since long I had in my mind to get Tia's ears pierced. Off late she too was asking for it. Her friends in class had them and she was also looking forward to it. Her Dance teacher Deepa told me the place where she got her daughters ears pierced. The ENT clinic is very near to our house. In the Bannerghata road, in lane just next to Status restaurant.

Initially Tia was very excited about it. But as soon as we entered the clinic she backed out. Crying, shouting and throwing tantrums... Completely uncooperative. Sweety and Dolly were also with us. Dolly was very scared that we might get her ear's pierced too. All the time she had them covered with her hands. Seeing the halla-tamasha Tia was creating there, we thought of getting Navya's done too. As this age it would pain less. Doctor was also of the same opinion saying that 1 1/2 yrs age is correct for this procedure. So first we got hers done. She too cried a lot. I think it was also from the fact that she was being held so tight by me, with strangers around her. Luckily it was done through gun shot which was very fast.

Tia did not even let me mark her ear with a pen for the hole. Ved had to catch her all through the procedure. She was crying so badly that she did not even realize when her both the ears got pierced. Luckily for both of them, we did not have any trouble after that. Next step is to buy gold earrings and put them on. Hope that does not become another episode :-)
